AIC Kijabe Hospital is a 350 bed mission hospital in central Kenya committed to compassionate healthcare, excellent training, and spiritual ministry with a particular emphasis on care for the poor.  Kijabe surgeons perform nearly 10,000 procedures annually and the Obstetrics department delivers 250 babies monthly. 

AIC Kijabe is a key location in East Africa for surgical training, with PAACS residents in General and Orthopedic Surgery and PAACS fellows in General Pediatric and Pediatric Neurosurgery. The Kenya Registered Nurse Anesthetist Program (KRNA) at Kijabe annually trains 40+ diploma level nurses to perform officially recognized anesthesia at a high level throughout Kenya and South Sudan.
