The G4 Alliance Welcomes New Executive Director
The G4 Alliance is pleased to welcome Mr. William Brown as the new Executive Director/Chief Fundraiser. Mr. Brown joined the G4 Alliance at the beginning of January.
“After an extensive search, we are delighted to welcome Mr. Brown on board. Despite decades of dedication from surgical organizations on the ground, and rapid progress in just the past few years, global surgery remains underrepresented. With William at the helm of the G4 Alliance, we are well-poised to advance our core mission of advocating for the neglected surgical patient,” says Ambassador Dr. Neil Parsan, Chair of the G4 Alliance Board of Directors.
Mr. Brown has extensive experience in organizational leadership, development, and philanthropy. He has previously worked as Executive Director for the University Community Hospital Foundation, Senior Director of Philanthropy for PCRM Healthcare, Vice-President for Development for the American Councils for International Education, and Chief Development Officer for International Orthodox Christian Charities.
“The opportunity to lead the G4 Alliance, and build upon the incredible work its member organizations have already achieved, is an honor,” says William Brown. "In my career, I have always looked for the organizations that are igniting change. The members of the G4 are mobilizing an unprecedented movement on a global scale. I’ll do everything in my power to support their work and our collective mission.”
Mr. Brown will be based near Washington, DC, working with the organization’s geographically distributed staff to advocate for the political prioritization of global surgery and ensure the long-term financial stability of the G4 Alliance.
