The G4 Alliance Consultative Process

The G4 Alliance's global consultative process is designed to build consensus among our member organizations and to seek input for the development of a G4 strategic action plan.

PHASE I: CONSENSUS-BUILDING & ENDORSEMENT (2015 - 2016)

Finalization of select Key Framework Elements to be voted on and adopted at the 3rd G4 Board Meeting. Remaining Key Elements developed.

PHASE II: ADVOCACY & COLLABORATION (2016 - 2020)

Dissemination of the G4 Action Plan to policymakers and governments with the purpose of directly influencing national health plans, building surgical capacity and promoting effective metrics and a strong accountability framework.


PHASE III: SCALE-UP & MATURATION
(2020-2030)

G4 members and partners discuss strategies to develop and implement a shared advocacy and policy platform to build greater priority for neglected surgical issues at the Consultative Meeting in Malawi in December 2015.
