Dr. Park attended Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, and did his residency at Temple University. He worked as a neurosurgeon in a private practice for 13 years in Missourri. Though, deep down Park, who is of Korean decent, knew he wanted to serve those living in third world countries. Through a connection with the Foundation for International Education in Neurological Surgery or FIENS, Park learned about the lack of neurosurgeons in Ethiopia. In 2008, Dr. Park volunteered with FIENS in Ethiopia, setting up training facilities. and also in Kathmandu, Nepal.
