Novick Cardiac Alliance

The Novick Cardiac Alliance is committed to bringing sustainable health care solutions to children with cardiac disease in the developing world. Novick Cardiac Alliance is dedicated to improving the skills, knowledge, technology and experience of local health-care providers in regions of the world without access to quality Pediatric Cardiac Care. The Alliance aims to provide comprehensive care to all children with congenital or acquired heart disease regardless of gender, ethnicity, religion, political views, genetic factors or economic means.

Our vision is that in the future all children with heart disease, no matter where they are born, will be able to receive the medical and surgical care they require to live a long and healthy life.

Since 1993, founder Dr. William Novick and his teams have worked in 46 cities in 32 countries, providing 7,411 children with operations and medical care. Most countries received a sustained repeated pattern of assistance including 2 to 4 visits per year for at least 3 years, with 90% of such programs now performing independent pediatric cardiac surgery.

In October 2014, this group of dedicated professionals came together and formed the William Novick Global Cardiac Alliance. With a purpose and a vision consistent with Dr. Novick’s trajectory, the William Novick Global Cardiac Alliance will continue its work in any corner of the world where services are needed.
